[Scribus] Fonts in SuSE 8.1

Hello, I have Scribus installed with SuSE Linux 8.1,  I am having a problem 
with fonts.  All my system fonts are not being detected.  I tried writing the 
text file like it says to do in the source folder but they still do not work.  
Does anyone know how to fix the problem?

If you send me a private e-mail, please make sure it is in English or Spanish, 
as I do not speak german or dutch.
