[Scribus] Font problems under Mac OSX solved

There are now Fink packages for scribus, versions 1.0.1-22 and 1.1.3-13, 
which should work correctly under Mac OSX 10.3.

The font problems were due to the version of freetype2 that was used 
before:

It seems that scribus does not work correctly (Type 1 fonts not loaded 
correctly) with freetype-2.1.0 which is the version that comes with 
xfree86-4.3.0 and also with Apple's X11 on OSX 10.3. It works, however, 
with freetype-2.1.3 as installed from Fink.

This is somewhat annoying, because Fink was just about to phase out its 
freetype2 packages in order to rely solely on the freetype2 that comes 
with X11. Is there a way to make scribus work with freetype-2.1.0?
