[Scribus] annoying little windows

Upgraded my KDE to 3.1.4, and not having any problems. The 
naughty little windows flash on the screen for a split second 
and disappear.

With KDE 2.2.2 I never had this problem until the official
1.1.4 release. (I built from CVS as recently as December 1.)
