[Scribus] disappearing templates and styles

Hello,  I'm in the process of figuring out Scribus.  Something I've observed 
is that styles (headers/footer information) disappear after the file has been 
saved.  When the file is reopened, the header information has vanished from 
the file, and the headers no longer exist in the Styles.  Is this operator 
error? And how can I fix the problem?  Oh, yes, this is using Scribus 0.8, I 
think, and KDE 3.2(?)
