I do not think so. Franz would know for sure.

Which version of Qt ? From what I can tell, 8.1 came with Qt 3.0.5.

on ftp.kde.org there are updated Qt 3.1.2 and KDE 3.1.2 packages.

The other thing I noticed about Suse 8.1 is the version of freetype2 is
kind of old. RH 8 came out the same time and had 2.1.3, which Franz
recommends. On the other hand, RH 8 came with KDE 3.0.3 long after 3.0.5
was out the door. Go figure..

This might be worth a try or wait until tommorow to see what Franz might
be able to advise.
