[Scribus] problem with accents

Hi,

I use scribus 0.9.7 on a mandrake 9.1.

It is impossible for me to  use the key from my (french) keyboard 
corresponding to ??? and other letters with scribus.

I can however incorporate letters using insert special what is only fine with 
1 or 2 letters not an entire text, I can also import a text written with a 
text editor.

are there plans to ease the use of scribus in conjonction with open office 
files rather than simply text files ?

Pour des raisons de s?curit? informatique toutes pi?ces jointes au format 
Word, Excell et PowerPoint sont imm?diatement d?truites.
je vous prierais donc de les remplacer par des fichiers au format rtf,  csv ou 
pdf
