When debian installs the msttcorefonts, they are stored in uppercase. They 
work fine in everything and freetype doesn't have any problems with them. How 
can this be a requirement? (And yes, the msttcorefonts don't show up here 
either). the fonts.scale and fonts.dir is also created.
