neither text nor picture frames support *.ps imports.

PS: with the exception of mathematics and physics about 90% of "science-DTP" 
(publications, posters, presentations etc.) are done with MS Office and 
applications that interact with it. It is unrealistic to hope this people 
will use tex/latex for a poster, no matter how convenient the results would 
be.
