Apparently, Evolution is not decoding the Mime-encoded attachments.
Haven't found a setting in Evolution to accomplish this.
But you can still do it yourself.
There used to be mmencode and uuencode for this, on SUSE 8.2 I only found
uudeview.
So if you copy the text above, including the boundaries, to a file named tmp,
then execute 'uudeview tmp', the result is 'Document-1.sla' containing this:
<SCRIBUSUTF8 Version="1.1.2" >
<DOCUMENT ABSTSPALTEN="11" PAGEWITH="595" AUTOCHECK="0" LANGUAGE="" DPIn2=""
DP gam="0" HCMS="1" ORIENTATION="0" MINWORDLEN="3" VTIEFSC="100" COMMENTS=""
TITLE="" KEYWORDS="" DSIZE="12" AUTOSPALTEN Charter Bold" CEXTRA="0"
CSTROKE="Black" /

</PAGEOBJECT>
</PAGE>
<PAGE NUM="0" NAM="Normal" LEFT="0" NumVGuides="0" HorizontalGuides=""
MNAM="" NumHGuides="0" VerticalGuides="" />
</DOCUMENT>
</SCRIBUSUTF8>
Another utility I often use for decoding stuff like this is the Linux version
of Stuffit (containing 'stuff' and 'unstuff'), obtainable from
http://www.stuffit.com.
'unstuff tmp' gives the same result.
