As Peter said, you need the cups-dev package. This is in fact the only
cups package provided by fink, because the cups system itself comes
already with Mac OSX. Apple has been using cups as their printing system
since OSX 10.2. They just don't include the header files, hence the need
for fink's cups-dev package.
But you said you had it installed before you compiled scribus-1.1.0 (and
maybe I should make this a requirement for the fink scribus package). In
this case it should have found the cups headers and libraries
automatically. It did for me, at least. If you rebuild scribus, you can
look at the messages from the configure stage, and you should see things
like
checking for httpConnect in -lcups... yes
checking cups/cups.h usability... yes
checking cups/cups.h presence... yes
checking for cups/cups.h... yes
If you get "no" here, there is something else wrong (or cups-dev isn't
installed correctly).
I can see the landscape orientation offered in the options window of the
printing dialog.
