[Scribus] Compiling scribus: MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET set to wrong value

When I installed scribus 1.0 with fink, I noticed the following
warning flit by on the screen:
ld: warning dynamic shared library: /usr/lib/libz.dylib
not made a weak library in
output with MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET environment variable
set to: 10.1
I am running Mac OS 10.2.8 on my system (Apple's X11b3, fink). My
fink "dists" directory is correctly
symlinked to 10.2. I didn't bother with this when I compiled 1.0, but
when I installed scribus 1.1.1 just now, I captured the output to see
if it happened again. It did. Below is
the first occurence of the warning. It occurs several more times
through the compilation process. Scribus 1.0 seemed
to work just fine, though perhaps some of its oddities could be
attributed to the warning. Scribus 1.1.1 is getting a
segmentation fault right after searching for fonts, so I can't
comment on it right now. I'll have to dig out the posts
dealing with that issue :~(
Should I be concerned with the above warning? If so, how do I go
about fixing MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET?
Thanks in advance,
Carol
