No, 9.0 should be 9.0 as a lot of things rather major changed between
releases. ISTR a lot of discussion on the RH mailing lists about it.
Now, if you want to see something really fine, take a look at Fedora
Core (RH10) - it will blow your mind.

If you think Scribus is fast now, upgrade to Fedora and get the
2.6.0-test8-bkx kernel, compile, reset and watch your machine really
really fly!
