Which folder? I don't quite understand what you did in the end. Install 
from binary or from source? The first method would give you 1.1.5, the 
second method should give you 1.1.6, supposing you updated your package 
descriptions before compiling.

You can copy the compiled version in form of the file 
scribus_1.1.5-11_darwin-powerpc.deb. You can the install this on the 
other machine using

   sudo dpkg -i scribus_1.1.5-11_darwin-powerpc.deb

This supposes, however, that you also copied or have installed the 
prerequisites which are (at least) the packages

ghostscript, qt3-shlibs, libjpeg-shlibs, libjpeg-bin, lcms-shlibs, 
libpng3-shlibs, libtiff-shlibs
