[Scribus] scribus on win

does anyone on the mailing list actually have scribus running under
windoze? more details of a seemingly outdated install note here

wonder if anyone has the bleeding-edge version on a winxp or win2k3.
please share how was your install? smooth? any issues? overall
experience?
