[Scribus] Execution Error

I successfully installed Scribus 1.0.4 on my system (Mandrake 9.2, Qt
3.1.2).  But, upon execution I get the following errors to the console:

_IceTransSocketUNIXConnect: Cannot connect to non-local host localhost
Session management error: Could not open network socket

The errors seem to come up when searching for fonts.  Can anyone tell me
what could be causing the errors and how to correct them?
