Hey, Hugh, good to see you here. We can always use more Greens using

I've had good luck finding obscure libraries at www.tuxfinder.com. The
search interface is a bit misleading (the search field in the left
column is not the one you want, but will take you to the one you want,
but you have to enter the search text again), but it's the fastest way
to find things none the less.

That was months and months ago, and at the pace Scribus is improving,
that's eons. To see what I mean, check out the changelog at scribus.net. 
If you know CVS - which I didn't until Scribus made it worth my while - 
then I highly recommend the latest version, 1.1.5cvs. Instructions are 
on the site.

Pretty necessary, as I understand these things. I'm reasonably sure two 
versions can co-exist.

You could just look for .deb files and save yourself the trouble.
