[Scribus] The "W" Word

Hi,
In the bugtracker, the bug #15 is a request for a windows port and it 
has been assigned.
My knowledge of  Linux is very limited but I had no problem compiling 
and installing Scribus on a Mandrake 9.2. May be you could try a 
beginer-friendly distro like this one ?
