Very useful I find the pdf-import of koffice.
It even tries to keep the layout, still not very successful most times,
but the text and the pictures are extracted, so you can edit them again.
Ok, it's not matching exactly to this topic making html from pdfs, but at
least related.
I'm looking forward Scribus, having such a "real" import function some
day.
