[Scribus] font problem with PDF export

Hi,

I'm totally new to Scribus and DTP in general, so sorry for the newbie 
question.

I'm using scribus_1.2.0.cvs20040526 from Debian Unstable.  Scribus 
displays all of the fonts in my document correctly, and EPS export 
works fine, but when I export to PDF, one of the fonts is replaced with 
rectangles.  All of the fonts should be embedded (at least Acrobat 
Reader 5 says so).  If it's relevant, the font is Aramis Italic from 
http://www.1001freefonts.com/fonts/afonts7.htm.  It's installed in my 
home directory - but could this be the problem, given that it displays 
correctly in Scribus?
