Scribus don't print itself, scribus generate a PostScript file.
A postScript document has as origin the lower left corner.
If the paper size on scribus is set to 12 x 12 inch and the
driver (cups) don't know about this size the results may not be
as expected. The only way is to select a paper size with a wide
>= 12 inch, a lenght >= 12 inch and to place the "real" sheet
at the top left corner of the sheet within scribus.
Note that print system or printer may be confused from a too short
paper sheet installed into the printer.
