Hi folks,

Just one more idea that came up the other day:

I use the template pages for head and foot lines (page numbering, lines
at the head or thelike). If you want to change it, you've got to go via
menu into the templates section, then choose the template page you want,
then scroll down to the point where you want to change something (e. g.
month indication or whatever).

Wouldn't it be a bit more intuitive if you just double-clicked on the
object you want to change and are guided into the relevant template page
to the point where the object actually is situated? For instance, when
you want to change the current month indication on a left-page-template
and you are on page 2 of your new document, just double-click on the
place (downstairs on the page) where the text frame is situated, and you
will be guided to the left-page-template into this very frame with this
frame visible on the screen where you clicked it.

As long as the template pages are just held in background and don't
interact with the rest, it might be an idea to invent a special mouse
click with some button combination or so.

As I said, just an idea :-)

Rolf
