Frank,
It sounds like it is working fine for your links, unless I'm
misunderstanding your intentions. Have you gone into the Scribus
settings and set your paths to the directories you want to appear, when
going after docs & pics? If you haven't, then do that first. If your
"bug" comes back the next time you use this, simply click on the "home"
icon in the file chooser and if your settings are correct, the right
directory should magically appear! ;o)
