[Scribus] Making Web Links in exported PDF

Hello Scribus Folk,

Can anyone suggest the optimal way to make a piece of URL text in a scribus 
document, such as "www.scribus.net" become a clickable web link in the 
exported PDF file?
So far I have been able to make a new text box over the viewable URL text, 
such as "www.scribus.net",  which is a PDF annotation with WebLink 
properties. This seems a little complicated.
