[Scribus] copy and paste

Hi,
I'm using Scribus 1.2 in Suse Linux 9.2.
Unfortunately I'm not able, to copy text from OOo to scribus. If I try, in the 
text editor nothing happens.
Can anybody help me?
btw:
when I try to use spec ial letters (i.e @ or ?), then Scribus  freezes by 
saying "Absturz durch Signall 11".
i know, my english is terrible, but maybe somebody can understand and help.
