[Scribus] Bring to front problem

I have a big black square and a group of 4 items that I want to "Bring 
to Front" in front of the square, as a group and in its original 
order. I find doing that difficult because the object in the group 
that is first selected will spring to the front while leaving the 
others in the group behind.  

No matter how I try it, I can't bring the whole group to the front as 
one unit. When I select the group, one of the items will be selected 
first, not the group as a whole.

Am I missing something here?
