[Scribus] argh! no true duotone ink support in scribus for photos

just checked out the site: it says this does a 'fake' cmyk using a trick
in layers, and the duotone is in 'red' and black. i would wish it to use
a specific hue i select. does it do that? have you used this? it seems a
bit unstable, so i wish to be sure before downloading it and possibly
crashing my gimp2.
