[Scribus] [OT] draw piechart?

This is the difficulty. I seems need to depend on outside tool to create 
piechart.

I played around a bit with kchart and oodraw (openoffice Draw). Both 
produce satisfying piechart but:

1) seems both does not accept data from outside file. My piechart data 
comes from an awk script, and I need to produce 50+ such pie chart to 
include into publications, type data manaually is boring.
2) kchart's export format does not include "eps" nor "svg"

What tool would you suggest me to use?
