Are you using 1.2.2cvs or 1.3cvs ? 1.2.2cvs doesn't use fontconfig, so
it won't necessarily find fonts shown by fc-list / fc-cache .

Craig Bradney's suggestion is definitely the easy way, especially on
Cygwin.
