[Scribus] Slightly OT: Font problems with Adobe Reader 7

Hi all,

please excuse me for mailing the issue on this list, but since this 
occurs in context with working with scribus, maybe somebody has an 
idea.

I would think that PDFs with embedded fonts would display correctly 
when opened with acroread. I am very familiar with this behaviour 
with Acrobat Reader 5. 

The new Adobe Reader 7 doesn't behave so. It just takes some fonts 
that might be similar, or not. Sometimes it even displays just 
bullets instead of letters. Adobe Reader is simply unusable that way, 
not even to talk about for precise DTP. Does anybody know about this? 

I am using SuSE 9.2.
