[Scribus] Scripter API to manipulate templates?

Hi,
is it currently possible to copy template pages and replace the colors
inside them afterwards with a Python script? I don't see any possibility
to get the template pages and copy them.

All hints are appreciated, if this question is too easy, please forgive
me as I am new to scribus scripting.
