[Scribus] scripting

Hi, I'm working on a special HTML import and right now I'M having the
poroblem that I want to change the font for the next text I'm inserting
but SetFont changes the font for the whole document.
Thecpp-importer seems to work slightly different and uses 
writer->append for addding text.
Is the documentation ffor he python-scripting incomplete or
am I missing something different?
