That should be relatively practical to fix. The simplest way would 
simply be a wrapper script that sets GS_LIB . An approach similar to 
that used in Scribus might not be too bad, either. gs is decent enough 
to use search paths for most things already, so it'd just be a matter of 
tacking something on to the search path.
