[Scribus] Problems using transparent images with PDF/X-3

Hi Dirk,

here's a workaround I use sometimes when the printer can't print 1.4 
transparency correctly. It's a little ugly and might or might not work 
for your project (coulours may not be preserved exactly):

1. Create your red background

2. add a second layer with the transparent images

3. add a third layer and leave it empty for now

4. add a fourth layer for the rest of your layout

5. Make layer 3 & 4 unprintable and export as bitmap

6. go to layer 3 (empty) and draw a picture frame with the size of your 
page. Import the bitmap and adjust it to your layout

7. Make layers 1 & 2 invisible and unprintable

8. export as PDF
