[Scribus] Printed pictures too dark

I have this issue too and exporting the png to jpg and using that
doesn't help either.

This is Scribus 1.2.2.1

But setting it to output to printer looks OK. (jpg)

But the resultant PDF is too big. nearly 100% increase in size
