[Scribus] extracting from Impression Publisher files

hi - i know this is crazy - but is there any hope of unpacking old
Impression Publisher DTP files and extracting the text and graphics? 

If at all possible - it should be easier than "importing" - i don't care
about the page arrangment - just the contents.

PS - what a great DTP application that was .. i ran it in 1MB RAM and had no
hard disk - all from floppies!
