[Scribus] switching off hyphenation

Hi all,

does anybody know if it is possible to switch off the hyphenation in Scribus?
Once it is set, it looks like that in cannot be unset.

Another question concerns the system of hyphenation. What system is used?
The English, American, other?

I hope one of you out there has the answers.
