[Scribus] scribus default font has no uk pound symbol

i've had a look at this over the last few days and have concluded:
* the myfonts.com typeface includes a ? symbol
* the version that appears on mandrake 10.2 does not
- i've tried browsing all the characters with thngs like the
"insert special"
from both OpenOffice as well as scribus. the OO browser
allows you to select the character
sets such as latin-1, extended, etc
i guess i'll have to try using a different face. i did try adding a new font
directory with a free to download face called BlueHIghway but its appearance
was very different!

Sorry, not corrupted. When you select the mapping for Windows, arrows
appear in many glyphs.
