Hi Rolf,
maybe you want to try the traditional hyphenation file for OO.o. You can
download it here: http://www.j3e.de/myspell/hyph_de_OLDSPELL.zip.
After downloading, unzip and rename the file to hyph_de_DE.dic. Rename
the original hyph_de_DE.dic to something else and copy the new file to
your respective Scribus directory. Now Scribus should avoid nonsensical
hyphenations.
Traditional German hyphenation was largely influenced by typesetters, so
you will most likely get better results.
