[Scribus] preferences / only sometimes ?

Hi,

To set global preferences and noted in the preferences docs:

Close all docs.

Tools > Preferences.

Set all the preferences as desired. 

Then, all new documents from now on will inherit these preferences. 
Existing ones will retain what was set when they were created. 
Re-saving these will inherit the new settings.
