I do not understand. I bought and "installed" into Scribus 4 fonts. I
installed them by (1) creating a folder called FontFiles (2) copying the
font files into the FontFiles folder, and (3) telling Scribus where to find
the font files (by entering the "Path to Font File" into Scribus). The path
was /home/bb/MyBook/FontFiles. Then I relaunched Scribus. It found the
files, opened them, and included all 4 fonts (on 4 separate lines) in its
font menu. And best of all, all 4 fonts worked perfectly. My "installation"
of the 4 fonts included no building of a cache. Scribus my have built a
cache, but that is not part of the installation process; it is something
that happens after installation (as part of the loading process).
