[Scribus] baseline troubles

I tried to find the answer to this in the list archives, but last I
time I checked, they were still down.

I have a paragraph style that forces text to the baseline. However, it
double-spaces to the left of all objects around which the text wraps.
Is there a solution to this?

I'm running 1.3.3.4 on Ubuntu.
