[Scribus] Scribus 1.2.4.1 slow in Ubuntu (follow up)

Opening a 10-12 pages document in Scribus 1.2.4.1 under Ubuntu 5.10  
(Gnome) is awfully slow on my computer (3-4 minutes).

I tried same version with same file on Zenwalk Linux 2.2 with 3-4  
seconds result.

I tried 1.3.0 version with same file on Mandriva 2006.1 under Gnome  
and i get my file in 10 second.

Someone else have problem loading Scribus document  under Ubuntu 5.10?

If not, where to look?
