[Scribus] Scribus-ng vs Scribus-cvs

Hello,
 
 I am running Ubuntu Breezy and I added the scribus repositories to my Synaptic. Now, if I do a search on scribus I have three options:
 - scribus - that is ok, it's the stable version 1.2.x
 - scribus cvs
 - scribus ng
 
 What is the difference between the last two? I'm thinking there must be a noticeable difference if they are called differently.
