[Scribus] Is there a letter standard in English?

As far as I know there is no standardisation of business letters in the US or 
GB as done by the German Institution for(?of?) Normation (DIN). The US 
pendant for DIN is the National Institute of Standards and Technology[1] 
(NIST). I'm using LaTeX koma-letter class in LyX for my buisiness letters and 
never had problems whit it's layout in the USA, CAN, AUS or GB.

BTW. I'dont know yor intention here but in my opinion I would see the use of a 
desktop publishing program a bit like 'breaking a butterfly on a wheel'. Or 
the german saying, 'Mit Kanonen auf Spatzen schiessen' :)

Not talking about what a tremendous piece of software we have in Scribus but I 
would say especially for buisiness letters there is no better system then 
LyX/LaTeX. You will find a lot of well known Universities and Institutions 
who use LyX/LaTeX for their correspondence.
