Hi Mayeul,
one thing you discovered is that Scribus isn't the right tool for scientific
publications (yet). The emphasis of DTP software is magazines, newspapers,
flyers etc. For scientific publications, LaTeX is still the first choice, or,
if you want to work the WYSIWIG way, FrameMaker or CorelPublisher. But
OpenOffice.org does no bad job in this area too, so it might be better to
stick with it. OO.o's PDF export is not the worst on this planet, and if you
don't need *very* accurate colours, it's a good choice.
