[Scribus] Bulleted List howto

Hello,

I'm using 1.3.3 and am trying to define a paragraph style for bulleted
lists. I found
http://wiki.scribus.net/index.php/How_to_create_lists_in_scribus_1.2x but
am not shure where this HOWTO needs to be modified for 1.3.3.
Here's what I did:
1) set a left tabulator
2) Position is 8.5 mm
3) whole paragraph indentation is 8.5 mm
4) first line indentation is -8.5 mm
5) Fill Char is "dot"

what I get is a paragraph with the correct indentations but no "dot" to be
seen anywhere ...

Can somebody nudge me into the right direction?
