I've also figured out how to make it work in Window 1.3.3.1 -- one thing 
you need is appropriate names for fonts (check FontSample in Script > 
Scribus Scripts for accurate names - you don't have to run the script 
except for using the requestor to check font names).
The other thing has to do with the inability to draw vertical lines with 
Scripter in 1.3.3.x, but on the Wiki page I show a kludge, to first draw 
the Y-axis horizontally, then rotate it vertically -- works fine.
