[Scribus] Scribus 1.3.4 in Ubuntu amd64 repositories

I tried now, but all I got was:

scribus-ng: error while loading shared libraries: libtasn1.so.2: cannot 
open shared object file: No such file or directory

I just entered:
checkinstall scribus-ng  -D

anf followed the instructions.

I tried to peek into the man page too, but not very easy to know what's 
mandatory and whats not. Perhaps i missed out something important?
BTW: Do I have to be root? Perhaps better not?
