[Scribus] Blend modes.

The online help has a very interesting passage on blend modes, but 
gives no hint about how they are accessed.  They apparently relate to 
layers, but although there is a layers window that allows one to 
create, delete, rearrange layers etc. I am having trouble just 
accessing a layer as such (as distingushed from the objects within 
the layer.)
