[Scribus] OT: breaking the "Xara LX is not fully free" deadlock

Hi list,
the following thread might interest those of you who've wondered about
the future  of the Xara LX over the last months. Finally, there are
again some interesting statements on their dev list, among others this
proposal to modify Xara Xtreme so that it can be used with Cairo instead
CDraw (current, non GPL'd graphic engine of Xara Xtreme):
